Carmen "Lil Mick" Pluma's Blog♥
Sunday, October 5, 2008

Good Morning Everyone,

I spoke with Albert last night and he said they figured out why Carmen has been saying "ouch" so much. It turns out that her jaw was dislocated. Today the docs will give her some botox to relax the muscles as they put her jaw back in place. I'm not too sure how this happened but I will get the details later. I just wanted to put a quick post to make sure this issue is included in everyone's thoughts and prayers.
This is obviously a set a back along with her cheek, but lets not forget how great Carmen has been doing with her PT (physical therapy) and everything else. I know Bert is anxious for her cheek to heal as well as her jaw so she won't be so distracted by all of the discomfort and pain those two things are causing her.
Our prayers are with you Carmen. Let's take care of these two issues quickly so we can keep seeing you  kick butt on the PT. Oh, and Carmen, you need to know something my friend...you are loved. And I mean loved! There are so many people that check this blog now it's absolutely incredible. I always knew you had a lot of friends but dang girl! And while we all have our own personal things to say to you, there is one common message, which is this; We are here for you Carmecita. We are here for you now, and we will be tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after that and forever. Oh yeah, and we also love you so much it's ridiculous!

Love,

-All of us

Carmen, 33 years ago you entered this world and I knew as soon as I saw your face you were an angel. I knew you belonged to Jesus but it was an honor and a privilege when he let me be your mom. I'm so proud of you. You have grown into a remarkable woman. You are an exotic beauty but your inner beauty is what captivates people. You are kind, generous, loving, and thoughtful. You have an energy that lights up a room when you walk in and anyone who meets you or is lucky enough to call you their friend walks away a better person. You are my angel, so positive and the bravest person I know. Your feistiness will get you through the toughest challenge you will ever face. I love you from the depth of my heart my sweet sweet angel. PS I just want all Albert’s and Carmen’s friends to know you guys are the best, and to Albert’s family you are amazing!! Thanks to everyone!! I love you all God bless - Jodi!
