Happy Saturday Morning everyone,

The last couple of days have been pretty good for Carmen. Her PT is continuing to go well. Albert went shopping for her too, so now Carmen is best dressed girl in PT. He got her some Nike workout shoes, a workout shirt and pants. Nice! As the therapists work with her, Carmen is very good at working WITH them. Some people just aren't into the PT and fight the therapists, but not our Carmecita. She cooperates and works very hard at all the excercises. They even had Carmen standing up with the assitance of some kind of aparatus / brace deal. She was on her feet for about 4 minutes! Remember, this is after 6 weeks of not being on her feet at all. Bert said she gets pretty tired afterward.
On the New Words list lately is the name of her dogs "Roxy" and "Ozzy" and "The" and the number "Three." Have I mentioned she said "shut up" yet too? How great is that?! Carmen, you are doing fantastic! We are so proud of you and extremely impressed at how quickly you're moving along with all the PT and all of your new words. Hang in Carmen. Stay strong and keep it up with that PT.
